Lately I've been playing Diablo 2 a lot. It came out in the year 2000, and is still selling on shelves today. Nicely enough, Blizzard has released patches over time that have added items and special game events for really high level characters, not to mention changing the dynamics of skill points. OK, OK, I'm geeking out here.
The main reason I started playing was because I did not want to buy a new laptop to play some of the newer games. One day I'll break down, but it's not necessary just yet... At any rate, it's a lot of fun playing online!

Currently I've got a level 91 Necromancer, 71 Sorceress, 68 Paladin, 49 Barbarian, and 42 Amazon. Some others interspersed, but those are the ones I like to play at the moment.
Even have a level 22 necromancer in hardcore (once you die, that's it). It's fun, but probably not worth it, since I don't want to die. :-)

Still playing! All of the chars above except the amazon I decided were useless because I didn't plan ahead enough when building them. Also, my hardcore necro died at level 45, which was frustrating.
Now I use a properly-built lvl 93 necro named "SuckyNoob" (chose that after I died in hardcore, partly for penance) and a few others in the 70s and 80s. I can regularly do all the events in the game solo, and have gotten several hellfire torches. Currently I am looking at a PVP assassin build, but it is going to take a good bit of practice. (every now and then someone pisses me off with a surprise kill, and it would be nice to be able to retaliate)
