Bad Breaker Weekend

MoonwalksOnly two moonwalk rentals this weekend, but both had problems with circuit breakers blowing.

The first was an older house that probably had bad wiring - they finally got it with a shorter cord and plugging it in to the socket closest to the breaker box. He had a bad breaker box too - you could not tell which one had blown - he had to reset them all just to be sure. He even reset the house main! That surely reset all the clocks in the house...

The second was at a country club - some guy cleaning cars had snaked his cord in the room, and on top of that we had the moonwalk and a humidifier and a bunch of a/v equipment. They still didn't find a way by the time I left - but the renter told me to go on - he was getting a couple of more extension cords. (ugh!) This one kept me around longer than I expected, as well - he kept talking to his guests when I needed to tell him he was having problems. (I also had a problem finding the place - it was not really well marked from the street.)

Ah well, made some money, anyway.

It got better/worse - Good news is we got another rental on Monday/Labor day. That's also the bad news - no rest!

It went without a hitch, though.

Aww well, there have been worse weekends by far. Once time it was pouring down rain and I had to tug the heaviest unit through an inch or two of mud. Ugh!
